Director

Support Coordination

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

Julia S.

Pronouns She/Her

Julia's love for the industry began when she was just 14 years old after enrolling in a school volunteer community program. She knew then and there that this was the work she wanted to build her career on. Over the next 34 years Julia worked in many sectors of the industry and has volunteered her free time to help those navigate the NDIS, housing, and aged care supports and services.

Her work over the years has had her involved in supporting people and families with intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, medical conditions, aged care, mental health and psychosocial disabilities, drug and alcohol, child services, domestic violence and more. Her roles have ranged from support work to admin roles and for the last 10-15 years she has worked in management roles and complex support coordination.

Julia and her husband moved to Australia 14 years ago, she's a mum of two (three if we include her fur baby Max). She has a passion for animals, loves to be out with nature, going to the gym (when she has time), and spending time with her friends whilst enjoying a glass of bubbles. Her husband would tell you she works long hours; Julia would tell you that her work is her hobby.

Julia has a genuine passion for helping others, and with the teams' combined experience and shared passion for this industry she wants to create a warm, inviting and friendly service where our participants are at the heart of everything we do. We want to remain a small close-knit team where you don't just become another number, we become part of your life so we can continue to achieve goals together and Thrive With You.

    Support Coordinator

    Mel H.

    Pronouns She/They

Mel has both professional and lived experience within the mental health and disability sector. She cared for her disabled mum from the age of 16, and now cares for her ASD teenage son. She also has her own mental health and physical disabilities.

What is a point of difference with Mel versus some other coordinators? She is a proud member of the LGBTIQ+ community! She likes to tell people about the Queer Neurodivergent theory, and is a fierce advocate for those in the Rainbow family.

She has always has the desire to help people, having been raised by a single mother who was a nurse. Seeing her mum care for those with disabilities instilled a passion to stand up and speak out for those who couldn't always do so for themselves.

Mel has been a support worker since 2019, and started doing coordination in 2024. She will soon be completing a course in Psychosocial Recovery Coaching.

Mel is a mum to 1, has a heap of rescue animals, is a gamer, loves Japan, anime, Marvel nerd, and is a big fan of tattoos and odd coloured hair!

      Community Outreach Lead

      Crystal T.

      Pronouns She/Her

Prior to working in the industry, Crystal had a background of working in defence for 13 years. She has lived experience caring for loved ones with mental health and physical disabilities.

After her two-year-old son was diagnosed with ASD, she left her life in Queensland and relocated to Melbourne to give her son the best opportunity to access NDIS services and supports.   With the challenges she faced as a single mum in a new city, Crystal reached out to parent groups for new friendships. She found herself providing support to other young mums and people in her community trying to navigate the NDIS. She soon realised that she wanted to spend more of her time helping those in need.

Crystal was recognised for her commitment to help others and was offered a role as a support coordinator, she took this opportunity to have a career change and move into the disability sector. Now Crystal works as a Support Worker, assisting clients in accessing the community.

Crystal loves gaming and jigsaws. She loves being a mum, spending time with her two little children and her old staffy Bentley.
